01 / Underground Contract Drilling
The continent’s mines are going underground.
As Africa’s open pits mature across gold, copper, and critical minerals, production is moving underground: a structural, multi-decade shift that makes underground drilling the pick-and-shovel trade of the continent’s next era of mining. Strong prices are funding the deepest capex cycle in a generation, while local-content rules thin foreign competition and push multinationals to divest, opening the field for a locally grounded operator.
The Thesis
Mission-critical, production-linked spend: paid as the mine operates, on multi-year contracts with escalators, not on the commodity price. Specialized crews and rig fleets create durable customer relationships and high barriers to entry.
02 / Airborne Geophysical Surveying
You can’t mine what you haven’t mapped.
Africa holds roughly a third of the world’s mineral reserves but a fraction of its exploration spend, and that gap is closing fast as capital returns to the continent. The West is re-industrializing its critical-mineral supply chains away from China, and it starts in the air: with the surveys that de-risk the next generation of mines.
The Thesis
A data-driven exploration service built on scarce instrumentation, aircraft access, and interpretation talent that is hard to replicate locally. Demand tracks the exploration cycle, resource definition, and government and institutional survey work.
03 / Integrated Logistics Services
Nothing moves without logistics.
As mine output climbs and new export corridors open across the continent, producers are consolidating a fragmented haulage-and-warehousing base into integrated partners they can count on. Whoever owns the integrated logistics layer owns the uptime the entire operation depends on.
The Thesis
The connective tissue of every mine, moving inputs, consumables, and equipment to site and product to market, where road quality, fuel, and reliability are the binding constraints. Recurring, production-linked demand across a fragmented base of operators ready to come together into a single, dependable logistics partner.
